We are Daniel and Carolina, a Costa Rican–American couple who turned our love for nature, design, and hospitality into spaces where guests can feel the calm of Costa Rica in every detail.

Our journey began in Manuel Antonio, where we built our first 4 studios surrounded by wildlife and the lush canopies of the Pacific jungle. Over the years, through dedication, care, and a genuine commitment to guest experience, we became Superhosts with more than 600 reviews and a 4.9 rating in just four years. Hosting has become part of who we are — a way to welcome travelers from around the world into places that feel alive, authentic, and meaningful. We welcome to everyone who wants to escape from a noisy world.

The name Braja means “blessing, gratitude, and the flow of abundance". Braja was envisioned as a sanctuary where every detail —the ocean breeze, the forest’s rhythm, the morning light— becomes a gentle reminder of what truly matters: to breathe, to appreciate, and to feel life without rush.

Today, Braja Lodge in Manuel Antonio immerses guests in the energy of the rainforest and the breeze of the Pacific, while Braja House in La Sabana offers a modern, airy escape in the cultural center of San José. Both places share the same soul: thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and a deep respect for Costa Rica’s natural beauty.
